Take care of body and mind with TALK Miami Beach’s special fall activities
Fall has arrived in Miami Beach. The season softens the summer heat and brings pleasant temperatures for walking around the city and joining special outdoor activities. TALK Miami Beach‘s schedule offers a range of activities for international students who came to study English in the United States during the season. Check out some of them.
Mind Care
South Pointe Park, in southern South Beach, is the perfect place for walking and relaxing thanks to its boardwalk and lounging areas. TALK Miami Beach has planned two student activities in the park. On November 12th, Full Moon Meditation: a time to relax, contemplate and meditate. On November 20th, right after classes, the English Book Picnic. Enjoy a delicious picnic while reading and exchanging book experiences with your new friends from around the world.
Another related activity is a visit to the Perez Art Museum Miami, where you will be able to enjoy wonderful modern and contemporary artworks from the 20th and 21st centuries. The visit is scheduled for the first Thursday of December, the day when admission to the museum is free.
Move your body
Some of the special activities are perfect for moving your body and keeping your physical activity up to date. On October 23rd, TALK Miami Beach promotes its traditional Bike Ride at South Beach boardwalk. Ask our staff how to rent a bike to join the fun. November 6th is time to play Volleyball at the beach while enjoying a beautiful sunset and bonding with your peers.
Finally, December 11th is our Beach Day. Enjoy Miami Beach the most and say goodbye to the mild beach weather as winter and its cold temperatures are coming!
Traditional American Parties
Fall is the time for some of the most traditional American parties. On October 31st, TALK Miami Beach celebrates Halloween with a special party. Now is the perfect moment to show that you rule in costume originality! On December 19th, the school celebrates Christmas with a special potluck party, in which students will bring dishes from their home countries and share their culture with their classmates.
