Healthy breakfast scramble (#10)
When it comes to making a healthy vegan breakfast, you probably expect it to be much more difficult that preparing a more common type of breakfast dish. Breakfast is one of the most important meals of the day, and without it you jeopardize your ability to learn properly and retain memory. You may also find it harder to concentrate and run out of energy faster. For vegan or even adventurous non-vegan TALK international students who are looking to maintain a healthy diet, here is one of many easy vegan recipes that will turn your breakfast into a culinary masterpiece.
- ½ cup tofu (crumbled)
- 1/8 cup chopped onion
- ¼ cup chopped red peppers
- a handful of spinach
- a few dashes of paprika
- 1/8 cup chopped vegetarian bacon
Step: 1 – Heat a frying pan to medium high heat.
Step: 2 – Take your ingredients and combine them into the frying pan.
Step: 3 – Continuously sauté the vegetables so each piece is exposed to the heat.
Step: 4 – Make sure the tofu is heated all the way through and is soft like the other vegetables.
Step: 5 – Add a sprinkle of salt and pepper to enhance and season the dish for more taste.
Step: 6 – Stir for another minute before turning the stove off.
Step: 7 – Take a plate and dish up your meal ready for eating.
