Beach volleyball is a popular activity with TALK Fort Lauderdale students

This year is no different – Jamie has scheduled many recurring local outings for the TALK students which are always popular such as beaching and beach volleyball, BBQ’s and Sawgrass Mall visits.

Highlight activities include day tours or overnight tours to the following attractions which are slightly further afield:

Orlando

summer activities

Universal Studios and theme parks, Orlando, FL

A week-end trip to Orlando is scheduled for TALK Fort Lauderdale students. Orlando is a city in Central Florida with more than a dozen theme parks: Walt Disney World is comprised of  4 parks –  Magic Kingdom and Epcot plus 2 water parks. Universal Orlando offers  2 parks: Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. The hugely popular Wizarding World of Harry Potter is also in Orlando.

Busch Gardens

Based in Tampa on Florida’s west coast, Busch Gardens is an unmissable attraction if you love theme parks with thrill rides, African animals, live entertainment and a whole lot more!

Key West

aventura weekends away

Key West – The southernmost point of the U.S.A.

A visit to Key West, that an island town on the southernmost point of the Florida Keys is a must for anyone visiting South Florida. With its pastel-colored, conch-style houses and laid-back attitude, the island is paradise for those who want to get away from city life for a while.   The drive on the Overseas Highway is one of the great drives in the USA.

Rapids Water Park

Not too far from Fort Lauderdale, in West Palm Beach, Rapids Water Park is a water park  that occupies 30 acres near I-95. The park includes a wave pool, thirty-five water slides,

including dual seven-story speed slides, and a quarter mile lazy river. This is another popular student summer activity each year for South Florida’s TALK English School students.

TALK Fort Lauderdale students are guaranteed some amazing student activities this summer.  Thanks to Jamie for organizing these fabulous summer activities, as always!
