Pick-up lines – the good, the bad and the ugly
Of course, when you come to the United States to learn to speak English, other things are bound to happen. You’re going to be meeting lots of new people, and have opportunities to meet the girl or guy of your dreams. What is the best way to approach somebody who you would like to get to know? Although this is a crude way of describing it, one uses the term ‘pick-up line‘ to refer to a really good opening sentence that is bound to get attention – and laugh.
