擬人法
擬人法とは人間が有する特徴などを人間以外のもの、ペットの犬だったり、家、海、空などの動かない物に使用することを言います。それ以外にも考えやアイディアなどに使うこともあります。

人間の属性、特徴などを動物、物体、又は考えなどに使用する修辞的な表現法。美術的な物の描写や人の抽象。人や物の質を具体化、人間化させたもの。
例：彼は機転の化身である。

擬人法とは動かない物などをまるで生きているかの様に表現する方法のことを言います。表現法の中ではとても効果的で美しい表現の仕方だと言えるでしょう。擬人法は想像力に頼り、ビビッドなイメージを連想させます。詩や歌詞などによく使われます。擬人法には2つの使われ方があります。
-動かない物体に対し、まるで生きている人間の様な表現を使うこと。ウィリアム・ブレイクはTwo Sunflowers Move in a Yellow Roomの詩でひまわりに対し擬人法を使用しています。
“Two Sunflowers
Move in the Yellow Room.
‘Ah, William, we’re weary of weather,
said the sunflowers, shining with dew.
Our traveling habits have tired us.
Can you give us a room with a view?”
擬人法とは動かない物体に対し、“吠えている風”などの表現の仕方をすることを言います。
